I had the pleasure of doing an official remix for depeche mode of their classic “enjoy the silence” for Native Instruments. The video above is the center piece of their new “Kontrol S2″ campaign and already has 600k views. The 2 minute live version is available to download below, and a full length dancefloor version is forthcoming! Depeche Mode – Enjoy The Silence (Ean Golden Live Remix) by Ean Golden
I recently played a dj performance showcase called “fader fest”. Less dance floor oriented, this was an early set intended to be more of a heavy audio journey. Enjoy! FADER FEST 2011 – Ean Golden by DJcityTV

Here are the first 3 videos from the upcoming advertising campaign Native Instruments will be pushing for their new S4 controller. Look out for part 4 which features me and a drummer in a few days.
Sunday afternoons at the End-Up have been a staple in San Francisco house music for many, many years. Long before I became a dj people were out on the patio/dance floor jacking to beats from sun down to sun rise. Its not surprise that such a place tends to inspire great mixes and this one is no different. Even though house music has taken a dive over the past 8 years or so, its poised to make a big comeback with producers working out brand new versions of the classic Detroit beats. This mix takes a bit of the old, a bit of the new and brings them together into what some might consider the quintessential End up sound: Classic deep house. Sit back, and imagine yourself working it out on a 30 year old dancefloor under lights that have been whirling since Friday night.

Its basically come down to about one mix per year. I wish there could be more but things are just so crazy over at DjTechTools.com that there is just no time for anything else. So here is the yearly mix, its called physical and is a intense blend of some very energetic beats. I got a little tired of people playing fluffy Electro when there are so many banging tracks out there so this is for those that just want to get crunk. We are giving away a bunch of free cds at the release party and for those of you that live around the world:
Wow, things have been so incredibly busy at djtechtools.com that I have had no time to even think about updating my personal site. Some of you may know that I first started playing deep house in clubs circa 97 and that dreamy detroit sound still has a special place in my heart. So to bring back the good old days, I brushed off the dust from my favorite records and blended a set thats great for those summer days.
enjoy:
